about

PRAIRIE SOUL
DANCE COMPANY

Prairie Soul Dance Company is a dance studio located 20 minutes south of Winnipeg in the growing town of Niverville, Manitoba. We are family owned and operated and have been serving southeastern Manitoba for 21 years. We offer recreational dance classes for children and adults as well as competitive dance programs with additional performance opportunities.

Our mission is to provide quality dance education and training for all skill levels in an inclusive and safe learning environment. We strive to meet the diverse needs of our students by providing creative and engaging classes with a focus on belonging where students feel accepted, supported, and respected.

Directors, studio owners, and sisters, Danielle Auld and Melanie Ducharme have over 40 years combined teaching experience as well as extensive backgrounds in dance, education, and childhood development. We are proud female entrepreneurs who are passionate about the arts, recreation, and wellness and giving back to our community. Along with our qualified faculty, we are committed to adhering to high standards of teaching and leading while engaging in ongoing professional development courses.

As a member of the Royal Academy of Dance, we follow the RAD syllabus. The RAD is recognized internationally as the leading organization for the highest standards of dance education, training, teaching, and learning. Our three spacious dance studios are equipped with professional sprung flooring, full length mirrors, and barres. Each studio has observation windows where families may view classes from the comfort of our lobby. Free parking and wifi are also available on site.
